About
Dr Rajan Prashar is a dual specialist in Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine. He is the only Nuclear Medicine Physician in the state practising clinical cardiology.
His areas of interest in cardiology include general clinical and diagnostic cardiology including coronary angiography, echocardiography, stress myocardial perfusion scans and CTCA.
Following his basic training at the Mater and Royal Brisbane Hospitals, Dr Prashar passed the FRACP exams and subsequently completed Cardiology training from the John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle.
He has also specialised in Nuclear Medicine at the John Hunter Hospital and the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital. He currently practices Nuclear Medicine with Qld X-Ray at Greenslopes Private Hospital.
