About
Locally trained from John Hunter Hospital after moving to the Hunter region from New Zealand.
Dr Lakshmi Kasi is a member of the Royal Australasian New Zealand college of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists. She completed her Fellowship training in the Hunter region at the John Hunter Hospital and Central Coast hospitals.
Lakshmi holds a fellowship in India and has experience working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in multiple countries.
She is currently a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Newcastle and is involved in teaching medical students.
Dr Kasi is a training supervisor for Obstetrician and Gynaecology trainees.
Lakshmi is married to an anaesthetist who works in the Hunter region and also provides services for Dr Kasi’s private operating lists.
Interests
Dr Kasi has an interest in early pregnancy assessment and management as well as experience dealing with high risk pregnancies.
