Dr Rakesh Malhotra

Dr Malhotra is an Adult Endocrinologist treating all endocrine conditions with special interest in diabetes, obesity, men’s health and metabolic bone disease. 

 

Dr Malhotra completed his Endocrinology training with honours from the University of Mumbai, India. He was awarded the Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2014. He worked at Mackay base hospital for 3 years before moving to Brisbane. 

 

He holds a senior staff Specialist position at Caboolture Hospital where he manages the diabetes and endocrine services. He is an adjunct lecturer with University of Queensland. He is very passionate about teaching and training medical students and junior doctors. He believes in providing holistic patient centred healthcare to his patients.
