About
Ravi is a New Zealand born and trained adult and paediatric ENT surgeon dedicated to helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes. He is thorough, conscientious and empathetic in his patient-centred approach to surgical care.
Ravi is passionate about employing evidence-based strategies for the treatment of ENT conditions, and has undertaken extensive research in the field of rhinology (nose and sinuses). He completed a PhD in 2017, in which he investigated methods to optimise outcomes in the management of chronic sinusitis. He has presented his research at conferences around the world and continues to be involved with surgical research and teaching the next generation of surgeons. He has been the recipient of a number of prestigious awards, including the New Zealand Health Research Council Fellowship and the Sir Charles Hastings Medal of Excellence.
