About

Dr Renee Squires is a haematologist, dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome for her patients and delivering the highest level of care.

Dr Squires completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at James Cook University and commenced advanced training in haematology, bone marrow transplantation and haematology pathology at Townsville Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Sullivan and Nicolaides Pathology.

She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA).

Dr Squires is experienced in caring for a wide range of malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, including leukaemia, lymphoma, myelodysplasia, myeloproliferative disorders, myeloma, haemoglobinopathies and thrombosis. She also has experience in managing women’s health, obstetric haematology, clotting and bleeding disorders in addition to autologous and allogenic stem cell transplantation and apheresis procedures.
