Dr Reuben Ndegwa

Reuben is a dedicated specialist general surgeon whose practice maintains compassion and commitment to excellent surgical care and delivery of optimum patient care. Dr Ndegwa studied and graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Newcastle in 2011. He subsequently completed he’s pre-vocational intern and senior resident medical officer years rotating through the northern beaches’ hospitals, Royal North Shore hospital and St Vincent’s Hospitals in Sydney. Dr Ndegwa then completed with specialist general surgery training at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney where he developed a passion and interest in Upper Gi and Hepatobiliary Surgery. He performs minimal invasive small bowel and colon surgeries ensuring quick post-operative recovery and expeditious return to normal activities of daily living. He is also GESA accredited interventional endoscopist of both gastroscopy and colonoscopy. He continues to be involved and medical and surgical research and has completed a Post-doctorate Master’s in surgery and remains heavily involved in surgical education and teaching of junior doctors and medical students
