Clinical Focus
Dr Riti Chetty is a Consultant Cardiologist with a focus on advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. She is experienced in the assessment and management of complex cardiovascular conditions, including patients requiring advanced heart failure therapies, transplant assessment and long-term post-transplant care. She also has a particular focus on heart disease in pregnancy and advanced cardiac imaging. Dr Chetty is currently undertaking further subspecialty training in echocardiography and cardiac CT and is a Testamur of the American Society of Echocardiography. Dr Chetty is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based and patient-centred cardiovascular care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Background and Training
Dr Chetty completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia before undertaking physician and specialist cardiology training across Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Following her cardiology training, she completed a subspecialty fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation with the Cardiac Transplant Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in the management of patients with advanced heart failure and those undergoing cardiac transplantation.
