Dr Robbie Glanfield

Robbie is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Newcastle, with an interest in foot and ankle problems as well as general orthopaedic trauma.

 

Originally from New Zealand, Robbie studied medicine at the University of Sydney and has called Newcastle home since 2015. Newcastle is also where Robbie completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training. Robbie subsequently completed advanced foot and ankle training in Canada through a fellowship with the University of Calgary.

Robbie treats a broad range of foot and ankle conditions—including degenerative conditions, instability, injuries, and deformity—with a particular interest in total ankle replacements for ankle arthritis. Robbie also manages general orthopaedic trauma/injuries.
