About
Dr Pozzi has an active sports medicine (all joints), upper limb (including hand), foot and ankle practice. He regularly performs arthroplasty (joint replacement) in primary and revision knee/hip/shoulder and elbow. Dr Pozzi offers a comprehensive general orthopaedic referral service and is able to to coordinate the care of the majority of orthopaedic conditions including upper/lower limb/general spinal and paediatrics.
Dr Pozzi is Director of Orthopaedic Training for the Cairns Hospital (part of the Australian Orthopaedic National Training Scheme).
Dr Pozzi has a long involvement in the injury management of local sporting teams across many codes, including the Cairns Pride and Cairns Hockey Association (CHA). He has been a board member of CHA for the last 7 years and is the current President.
