About
Dr Ryan Droney is a specialist Haematologist with broad experience across malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. Born and raised in Bundaberg, Dr Droney moved to Brisbane for university. He completed a Bachelor of Science followed by a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at The University of Queensland, graduating in 2015.
Dr Droney undertook his internship, residency and basic physician training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He subsequently underwent advanced haematology training across major centres in Southeast Queensland, including the Princess Alexandra
Hospital, Mater Hospital South Brisbane and QML Pathology.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA). His clinical practice focuses on providing compreensive haematology care across a wide range of conditions.
Outside of work Ryan likes to play tennis and spend time with his family particularly in the great outdoors.
