About
Dr Ryo Mizumoto is Specialist General Surgeon with advanced training in laparoscopic procedures. He has a clinical interest in:
- Laparoscopic general and colorectal surgery
- Minimally invasive (endoscopic) pilonidal sinus surgery
- Breast and thyroid surgery
- Hernia and gallbladder surgery
- Skin cancer including melanoma
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Mizumoto is actively involved in breast and colorectal research. He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Queensland and serves as an Intern Supervisor in the Department of Surgery, demonstrating his strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.
Dr Mizumoto consults at Ramsay Consulting Suites in Caboolture and Bribie Island, and operates at Caboolture Private Hospital. He also serves as a Staff Specialist General Surgeon at Caboolture Public Hospital.
