Dr Kepreotis completed his cardiology training as well as a percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) fellowship at St George Hospital in Sydney before being selected for the prestigious ANZET-UK fellowship program. Through this program, Dr. Kepreotis trained at the Leeds General Infirmary, the busiest emergency PCI centre in the UK, where he gained extensive experience in treating complex coronary artery disease including chronic total occlusion (CTO) procedures.
Dr. Kepreotis is highly skilled in intravascular imaging, bifurcation and left main stenting, advanced calcium modification techniques, and both antegrade and retrograde CTO PCI. Alongside his clinical training, he holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and has completed a gene therapy research fellowship in heart failure at Mt Sinai Hospital in New York. His research has been widely published in prominent peer-reviewed journals, and he has been honoured with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians Trainee Research Prize for Excellence in the Field of Adult Medicine.
