About
Dr Samuel (Sam) Battaglia is a specialist gastroenterologist and hepatologist. He studied science at Monash University in 1983 followed by medicine at the University of Melbourne where he graduated with honours in 1988. Sam went on to obtain his fellowship in gastroenterology (FRACP) in 1997 after receiving a number of research scholarships.
In 2003 Sam established the liver clinic at Maroondah Public Hospital in Ringwood Victoria.
