Dr Sandeep Arunothayaraj

Dr Sandeep Arunothayaraj completed Medicine at the University of Melbourne under a National Scholarship, graduating equal first in his class.

He undertook Cardiology training at St Vincent’s, specialising in stent implantation with Prof Robert Whitbourn. Sandeep followed this with a clinical and research fellowship in Structural Cardiology with Prof David Hildick-Smith, the President of the British Interventional Society. He gained experience in structural heart procedures and authored numerous publications.

Sandeep then completed a final fellowship in Dublin with internationally renowned complex stenting expert Dr Colm Hanratty and returns having performed over 300 TAVIs and 1000 stents.
