Dr Sandie Staermose

Dr Sandie Staermose completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Queensland, graduating with honours in 1999. Her interest in endocrinology was sparked as a medical student. She was employed at Mater Health Services, Brisbane, before heading to the United Kingdom to work for two years. 
On her return to Brisbane, Dr Staermose worked at the Princess Alexandra and Mater Hospitals, completing her specialist training in the field of endocrinology. She commenced work as a consultant endocrinologist in private practice at the beginning of 2009.
Dr Staermose looks after patients with a range of endocrine conditions and is committed to providing up-to-date care. She has additional interst in the management of insulin pump therapy in Type 1 Diabetes.
