Dr Sean Nguyen

Dr. Sean Nguyen, a specialist cardiologist with interest in echocardiography, stress echocardiography, and cardiac CT, including CT coronary angiography. Originally from Montréal, Québec, Canada, Sean graduated with Honours in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Ottawa before moving to Australia in 2009. He completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland and advanced training in Cardiology at Princess Alexandra Hospital and Cairns Hospital. Sean holds qualifications in stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, and structural echocardiography for PFO/ASD closures. He achieved the highest level of CTCA qualification recognized by the RANZC of Radiology (Level B), making him the sole specialist in North Queensland with this distinction.
