Dr Shannon Hee Kyung Kim

Dr Shannon Kim completed her medical degree at The University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2003 and completed her Urology training in Sydney, NSW. She undertook a one-year fellowship at Westmead and Blacktown Hospitals focusing on urinary tract stone surgery and BPH.

In 2014, Dr Kim further sub-specialised in urological microsurgery, including vasectomy reversal, varicocolectomy and microsurgical sperm extractions. She then received further training at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) as a visiting scholar.

Interests include:

• Erectile dysfunction and ejaculation disorders
• Male infertility and Microsurgery: Vasectomy reversal, Varicocoele, Surgical sperm retrieval
• Female urology and Urodynamics
• Laser stone surgery
• Benign Prostate Hypertophy (BPH)

Dr Kim conducts male infertility clinics at the Royal Hospital for Women and at IVF Australia. However she is dedicated in treating both male and female urological problems.
