About
Dr Amirmalek graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tehran Medical School of Azad University, Iran, in 2002. He obtained registration with the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom in 2006 and received his Australian Medical Council certificate in 2012. In 2020, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
He completed a fellowship in lung cancer and interventional pulmonology at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fiona Stanley hospitals. Dr Amirmalek specialises in pleural diseases, lung nodules, thoracic malignancies, and is an expert in medical pleuroscopy.
Currently, he is a staff specilaist on the Central Coast, and is a VMO at Bankstown Hospital and Mt Wilga Private Hospital.
