Dr Shwu Chin (Jean) Woo

Jean graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1999 and was inspired to undertake training in obstetrics and gynaecology after learning of the difficulties many women face in their lives when they are affected by obstetric complications and gynaecological disorders.

Jean has a young family and deeply understands the challenges that parenthood brings.

Jean has based her private practice at Mitcham Specialist Clinic, 700 metres from Mitcham train station.  She is accredited to offer both obstetric and gynaecologic care to women at Mitcham Private Hospital.

Her vision is to provide the highest standard of professional yet personalised care to women during all stages of their lives.

Jean has worked in Monash Medical Centre, Box Hill Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Freemason’s Hospital and other facilities across Australia.
