Dr Shyam Gangadharan

Dr Shyam Gangadharan is a Specialist Physician in General Medicine. Shyam has served as a Staff Specialist at public hospitals in Newcastle such as Calvary Mater Hospital and John Hunter Hospital, where he earlier completed a two-year Fellowship in Stroke Neurology.

He has a clinical and research interest in Neuro-oncology, that is neurological conditions affecting patients with cancer.

 

Aspiring to a holistic model of patient care combined with a natural joy for teaching, Dr Gangadharan balances his clinical roles with academic pursuits. Affiliated with the University of Newcastle as a Clinical Lecturer, he has published in several peer-reviewed journals and has been involved in various clinical trials.
