Dr Sugandha Kumar

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Sugandha Kumar, who has over 20 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology. She offers obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility services in Melbourne’s southeastern suburbs.

 

Sugandha is dedicated to offering exceptional care and expertise to women of all ages and backgrounds. Sugandha has a strong focus on improving outcomes for her patients by offering up-to-date and evidence based treatment options. Sugandha is also passionate about minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

Sugandha did her early specialist training in India and completed her advance training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Australia (Monash and Eastern Health). Sugandha holds a specialist appointment in Box Hill hospital. She is actively involved in medical student and junior doctor teaching both in her public role and private practice.

 

She provides full range of fertility services from ovulation induction to IVF in partnership with Create fertility. Her patients appreciate her calm and reassuring manner and individualised management. Sugandha is available to provide pre-referral advice or to answer any clinical query. She endeavours to see urgent referrals as soon as possible.
