Dr Sujievvan Chandran

Waverley Private Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr Sujievvan (Suji) Chandran, gastroenterologist and hepatologist.

Sujie completed a two-year endoscopy fellowship at the Austin in Heidelberg, before undertaking a one-year fellowship in endoscopy in Toronto Canada.

Sujie is qualified to perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and EUS. He also specialises in endoscopic management of barrett’s oesophagus, endoscopic resection of polyps, pancreatic fluid collections and the use of spyglass technology.

Sujie has published multiple studies in the field of endoscopy and won GESA clinical research scholarship. He has presented at both local and international conferences and is the co-author of a book chapter on ERCP. He is also in the final stages of completing his PhD in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Sujie is available to see urgent general gastroenterology and endoscopy referrals at short notice.
