About Dr Chandran
Dr Chandran is a Specialist Physician and Endocrinologist who brings a wealth of experience and expertise and has recently joined Hollywood Private Hospital. He also holds the position of Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of UWA. In addition, he serves as the Head of Department at SJOG Midland through his public appointment. His interests encompass a range of clinical areas including Type 1 & 2 Diabetes mellitus (with a focus on insulin pumps), thyroid, adrenal, pituitary disorders, as well as osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders. Dr Chandran conducts patient clinics at both Bullcreek and Midland, ensuring convenient access for individuals across the metropolitan area.

Dr Chandran’s background is marked by extensive training in the United Kingdom, where he completed both basic and advanced training. He has also held significant roles as a Consultant Endocrinologist and Physician at County Durham and Darlington Hospitals Foundation NHS Trust. Furthermore, he served as the Director of Medicine within the Tasmanian Health Service. His contributions extend beyond clinical practice, with publications in international journals and presentations at distinguished endocrine conferences.
