Dr Surabhi Gupta, is an Australian trained duly qualified medical practitioner currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency. She is a trained pain medicine physician obtaining her Faculty Pain Medicine ANZCA fellowship in 2020. She has worked at Nepean Hospital, NSW and Canberra Hospital, ACT. Surabhi has 10 years’ experience as an anaesthetist in the public and private sector managing perioperative pain. She consults from Frankston Pain Management and Peninsula Health Hospital. She also sees Patients at Beleura Private Hospital and Peninsula Private Hospital.
Dr Surabhi Gupta completed her Bachelor of Medicine, followed by a Diploma in Anaesthesiology and her Diploma of the National Board of Examinations in Anaesthesiology in Dehli, India before completing her Faculty of Pain Medicine in Australia. She has 10 years’ experience as an anaesthetist in the public and private sector managing perioperative pain.
Surabhi’s areas of expertise include managing include chronic lumbosacral back pain, chronic abdominal and pelvic pain, chronic complex regional pain syndrome and other peripheral neuropathic pains. Surabhi has procedural skills in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, patient control analgesia and patient control epidural analgesia for peri-operative and post operative acute pain relief and labour analgesia, caudal epidural and ganglion impar block, guided fact blocks, neurolytic procedures via radiofrequency ablation and pulsed and cooled radiofrequency ablation procedures.
