Dr Swee Lin Chen Yi Mei

Dr Swee Lin Chen Yi Mei is a Melbourne trained gastroenterologist and hepatologist. Following her undergraduate studies at Monash University, Swee Lin has undertaken further postgraduate study at the University of Melbourne whilst obtaining her Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is currently completing a PhD in collaboration with the Immunology Research Centre at St Vincent’s Hospital (Melbourne), conducting research in hepatitis C.

Swee Lin has public appointments at Box Hill Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital. She holds the clinical lead role for the Coeliac Clinic at Box Hill Hospital and plays an active role in clinical trials and ongoing research in this area. Swee Lin has an active interest in hepatitis C and management with the new direct acting anti-viral agents. Her experience dates back to the interferon-era.

Swee Lin also performs Fibroscan and recently trained in the medical management of obesity at St Vincent’s Hospital.
