Dr. Tanya Ha, a Specialist Urological Surgeon, is dedicated to delivering a prompt, holistic, and compassionate service to all her patients. With a particular focus on haematuria management, stone disease, and urological cancers (kidney, bladder, and prostate), she also specializes in prostate disease, voiding dysfunction, and overactive bladder. Dr. Ha is fluent in Cantonese, ensuring effective communication and culturally sensitive care.

 

Professional Appointments:

Currently serving as the Head of the Department of Urology at Royal Perth Hospital, Dr. Ha has held previous appointments at Fremantle Hospital and Rockingham General Hospital. Her commitment extends beyond clinical practice, as she actively participates in the education of medical students and junior medical staff. Additionally, Dr. Ha serves as a College supervisor for Urology trainees and International Medical Graduates.

 

Background & Training:

A fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Urology, Dr. Ha obtained her medical degree at the University of Western Australia. Following this, she completed her fellowship and a post-fellowship year specializing in upper tract laparoscopy, pelvic oncology, and urogynaecology in the United Kingdom. Dr. Ha is deeply engaged in research, having presented her findings at both local and national levels, showcasing her commitment to advancing the field of urology.
