Dr Tim Sluis-Cremer is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon based locally in Coffs Harbour, specialising in upper and lower limb injuries, hip and knee replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery, and conditions of the hand. He has completed advanced subspecialty fellowship training in hip and knee arthroplasty, complex orthopaedic trauma, and paediatric orthopaedics, and has also trained at the renowned Martin Singer Hand Unit. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and was awarded a Master's Degree in Medicine, with distinction, in Orthopaedic. He is actively involved in teaching and has published and presented original research. Tim provides care across both public and private settings, at Baringa Private Hospital and Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
Originally from South Africa, Tim graduated from University of Cape Town medical school in 2005 and completed his orthopaedic specialist training in 2016. After relocating to Australia he undertook further advanced orthopaedic post-fellowship training across Australia, including at The Royal Childrens Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital and with the Melbourne Orthopaedic Group. He is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care focused on restoring movement, function, and quality of life.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys the active coastal lifestyle with his family—surfing, mountain biking, spearfishing, and exploring the outdoors.
