Dr Tim Lyon

Dr Tim Lyon has advanced training in gastroscopy and colonoscopy and is certified by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). He performs these procedures regularly, delivering safe, comfortable care with a strong focus on early detection of bowel cancer.

 

In support of his commitment to improving access to high quality endoscopy services across Australia, Dr Lyon has helped train doctors, surgeons, and rural health professionals in these procedures, sharing his expertise to support better outcomes in regional communities.

 

In 2024, he co-led the Towards Excellence in Rural Endoscopy course in Roma, Queensland—an important initiative focused on strengthening endoscopy skills in rural healthcare.
