About
Dr Ngo is a Urologist with an interest in robotic surgery.
His interests include urological oncology, all renal stone surgery, male and female incontinence, erectile and bladder dysfunction, laser prostate surgery, public and private lithotripsy and sacral nerve stimulation, as well as general urology. He is an experienced open and laparoscopic surgeon, specialising in minimally invasive surgical techniques, in particular robotic surgery.
He utilises the latest imaging techniques in the management of prostate cancer, including multi-parametric MRI (mpMRI) scanning of the prostate gland & PSMA scanning. He is also an advocate for active surveillance (AS) in the management of low risk prostate cancer.
Dr Ngo is a certified robotic urologist with a keen interest in prostate cancer management. He performed the first robotic radical prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy and robotic nephroureterectomy in the Sutherland and St George Shire. He is also the first Urologist in Australasia to perform a combined robotic radical prostatectomy and an anterior resection.
Dr Ngo has proctored Urologists in robotic surgery in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
