About
Dr Unine Herbst is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with an interest in Gynaecological Oncology. She is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). She completed her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in South Africa in 2007 and the Certificate in Gynaecological Oncology in 2011 before relocating to Australia.
She works at Westmead Private Hospital and is a senior staff Specialist at Westmead Public Hospital. She has an interest in the comprehensive management of gynaecological cancers, pre invasive disease of the genital tract and survivorship after the diagnosis of gynaecological cancers.
She has extensive experience in laparoscopic/minimally invasive and open procedures for the management of gynaecological cancers as well as complex pelvic surgery.
Interests include:
- Comprehensive management of Gynaecological Cancers of the vulva, vagina, cervix, ovaries and gestational trophoblastic disease
- Colposcopy, management and treatment of preinvasive disease of the vulva, vagina and cervix
