Dr Allahwala graduated from the University of New South Wales with first class honours and went on to complete his cardiology training and interventional fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital. 

Dr Allahwala has clinical focus in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure management and arrhythmias and is driven to provide the best care to his patients. He is skilled in non-invasive assessment including interpretation of CT coronary angiography, echocardiography and stress testing, along with invasive assessment and treatment with coronary angiography and intervention. In addition to Dr Allahwala's clinical expertise, he has a strong background in research having published more than 30 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters. He has also completed his doctoral studies from the University of Sydney in chronic total occlusion (CTOs) and complex coronary artery disease.
