Dr Walter Cosolo

Dr Walter Cosolo is an experienced oncologist who believes that, in addition to providing state of the art multi-disciplinary care for his patients, a holistic approach needs to be adopted to help the patient through their cancer journey.

Urgent patients will be seen within 24 hours of referral during the week.

His experience as working as a palliative care physician across a number of units in Melbourne was a stimulus to use more interventional modalities for difficult pain control syndromes in cancer patients.

Dr Cosolo speaks fluent Italian and has been involved in developing culturally sensitive cancer supports for the Italian community and was a founding member of the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia.
