Dr Williemena Ong

Mitcham Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Williemena Ong, an anaesthetist and pain medicine physician. She graduated from the University of Malaya and subsequently attained her anaesthetist degree from the National University of Malaysia before taking up pain training.

She started working in Victoria in 2012. She is a fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZA) and is currently working at Pain Matrix Eastern and the Werribee Mercy hospital.

As a previous pain fellow working at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Geelong Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, she has had vast experience working with children, trauma and geriatric patients who experienced chronic pain.

Williemena’s current passion is in ultrasound guided pain interventional procedures.
