About
Dr Young Jin Kim graduated from the University of Sydney with Bachelor of Medical Science degree, and medical degree with Honours from the University of New South Wales. He completed Master of Medicine from the University of Sydney with a clinical trial involving vitamin D (calcitriol).
Dr Kim completed his internship and residence at the Concord Hospital in Sydney, and worked as a General Practice registrar at Grafton. He also worked at a number of other rural hospitals including Emerald, Bundaberg, Winton, and Cooktown. Dr Kim completed his dermatology training in Queensland, working at various hospitals including Greenslopes Private Hospital, Mater Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Dr Kim has published a number of journal articles and has been an invited reviewer for a number of journals around the world.
Dr Kim teaches registrars at the QIDerm at Greenslopes Private Hospital once a fortnight, mainly on surgical dermatology.
