Dr Zainab Naseem

Dr Naseem is a specialist General Surgeon who has moved to the Goulburn Valley with the intention of staying permanently.  
She will be consulting from Goulburn Valley Surgery and Bariatrics in Shepparton weekly on Mondays.
Zainab has completed subspecialty training in colorectal surgery and advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures to achieve better results.
She has a strong interest in rural and regional surgery and is excited to serve this community in an effective capacity.

Colorectal Surgery - Transanal minimally invasive surgery (TAMIS/TEMS), Colonoscopy/EMR/Stents, all colorectal/proctology conditions including cancers and metastatic bowel obstructions, complex IBD, pelvic endometriosis, faecal incontinence, pelvic floor disorders and obstetric sphincter injuries.
Upper GI and Hepatobiliary - Laparoscopic gastric band removal, gastroscopy/variceal banding/PEG, esophagogastric surgery for benign conditions, management of gall bladder & biliary pathology.
