About

Hebba is a warm, approachable and compassionate psychologist with a natural gift for making people feel at ease from the very first conversation. Grounded in evidence-based approaches, she specialises in adjustment disorders, interpersonal and family difficulties, and mood and anxiety disorders — bringing over a decade of experience to each. She has a gentle, unhurried way of working that creates real safety, and a quiet attentiveness that means the things that often go unnoticed don't go unnoticed here. Sessions feel both purposeful and deeply personal.

Hebba tailors her approach to each person, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies depending on what is most likely to help. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to understand and shift unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to develop skills in emotional regulation and navigating relationships; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to build psychological flexibility and a clearer sense of personal values; and Play Therapy for younger clients, offering a natural and age-appropriate way for children to explore and process their experiences.

Hebba's work is guided by a genuine interest in the whole person — not just the difficulty that has brought someone to therapy. Sessions aim to build understanding of how past experiences, relationships and personal history shape the way we think, feel and respond in daily life. Alongside that understanding comes a practical focus on developing real skills and strategies — so that progress made in sessions translates into meaningful change in everyday life.

Hebba brings over a decade of experience across psychology and related human services disciplines, working across private practice, schools and community-based settings. She works with adults, children aged 6 and above, and families, with a particular focus on those navigating late diagnosis, adjustment to life changes, and interpersonal difficulties. She also has a strong interest in supporting women across different life stages, including postnatal adjustment, burnout and the challenges that can accompany significant transitions.

Hebba holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (First Class Honours), and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology.
