Mr Ba Nguyen

Mr Ba Nguyen is a General Surgeon with a clinical interest in colorectal surgery consulting in both Heidelberg and Bundoora, with rooms conveniently located close to Warringal Private Hospital and the Austin Hospital.

Ba's clinical interests include:

• Bowel Cancer
• Inflammatory Bowel Disease
• Diverticular disease 
• All perianal conditions – including haemorrhoids, fistula, fissures
• Minimally invasive surgery
• Hernia Surgery
• General Surgery

Ba received his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and went on to complete Basic Surgical Training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. Upon his return to Melbourne he completed his Advanced Surgical Training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and was awarded Fellowship in General Surgery by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2012.

 

Following this, Ba went on to complete a further two years of Post Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery with the Colorectal Surgery Society of Australia and New Zealand.

He is currently appointed as a General Surgeon with the Colorectal Surgical unit at the Austin Hospital.
