Mr Clem McCormick is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides comprehensive private orthopaedic care at Hollywood Private Hospital and holds a public appointment at St John of God (Midland) Public Hospital. He is known for his patient-centred approach, taking time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and tailor management plans—surgical or non-surgical—to the individual needs of each patient. Mr McCormick also works collaboratively with medical and allied health colleagues to ensure optimal outcomes. In addition to his clinical practice, he is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior doctors.

 

Background & Training

Mr McCormick completed his medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Western Australia in 1995. He went on to undertake specialist Orthopaedic Surgery training, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2003.He subsequently completed additional subspecialty fellowship training in the United Kingdom, further broadening his expertise and consolidating his skills in advanced orthopaedic techniques. Mr McCormick continues to maintain his commitment to ongoing education, ensuring he remains up to date with advances in orthopaedic surgery and contemporary best practice.
