Mr En Loon (Charles) Yong

Mitcham Private Hospital would like to introduce Mr En Loon (Charles) Yong, a general surgeon with additional training in breast and endocrine surgery, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary breast care team at Mitcham Private Hospital.

Following his undergraduate training at The University of Adelaide, Charles gained his FRACS based from South Australia. He spent a year as a fellow in general surgery at Northern Adelaide Health Network in South Australia before pursuing subspecialisation training in breast and endocrine surgery.

Charles had spent one year of oncoplastic breast and endocrine advanced surgical training in Christchurch Hospital, New Zealand during which he was awarded Honorary Clinical Lecturer from University of Otago for his contribution to teaching. He continued to develop further post fellowship experience in oncoplastic breast, endocrine and general surgery in Eastern Health, Victoria where he also worked as a consultant general surgeon.

During his breast and endocrine fellowship training, Charles had completed his Graduate Certificate in Breast Surgery from University of Sydney.
