Dr John Stuchbery

Dr John Stuchbery is a highly experienced General Surgeon with more than 27 years of continuous service to the Albury–Wodonga region and surrounding communities. Throughout his career, Dr Stuchbery has built a strong reputation for his clinical expertise, patient-centred care, and longstanding commitment to improving health outcomes across regional Victoria and New South Wales.

 

Dr Stuchbery has a particular interest in the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of breast cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, and non-melanoma skin cancers. In addition to his subspecialty interests, Dr Stuchbery performs the full range of routine general surgical procedures, offering comprehensive care for a broad spectrum of surgical conditions.

 

As a valued member of the Albury Wodonga Private Hospital- Ramsay Health Care network, Dr Stuchbery contributes extensively to the quality and governance of our services. He works as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO), serves as a trusted consultant, and currently holds the role of Chairperson of the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC).

 

Dr Stuchbery welcomes referrals for private, DVA, WorkCover, and self-funded patients and is committed to providing timely, professional, and compassionate surgical care.
