Mr Marc Seifman

Mr Marc Seifman is a  Plastic  Surgeon with an interest in Hand Surgery. . Marc graduated from Monash University, with MBBS and an additional research degree, BMedSc. He spent his early clinical years at The Alfred, during which he also completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Surgical Anatomy at Monash University in 2010. Marc trained in  Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Victoria, and was awarded his fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Following his fellowship Marc undertook further  training in Aesthetic Surgery, in the Australasian Society of Plastic Surgeons Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Program in 2017.

Marc currently holds a number of public appointments at Peninsula Health, Eastern Health and Barwon Health, in addition to his private practice. With a keen research interest Marc has published in a number of international journals and was the recipient of the 2008 Henry O’Hara Surgical Research Trust Award. He is involved in medical and surgical education, being an examiner for Monash University, a member of the RACS Academy of Surgical Educators and an instructor for the ANZBA Early Management of Severe Burns course.

Marc is passionate about providing a comprehensive patient experience, focussing on each patient’s concerns and tailoring the surgical experience to one’s individual needs. Marc is happy to see patients urgently if required, and discuss concerns with general practitioners over the phone.
