Clinical Practice:

Mike connects with his patients in a caring and relaxed manner providing them with the information they need, and allowing them time to consider the available options before committing to surgery. He is empathetic to patient concerns regarding costs and strives to ensure quality of access to appropriate care.

Mike has a list at both Hollywood and Glengarry Private Hospitals. He consults from his rooms at Glengarry Professional Centre.

Background & Training:

After graduating from Curtin University as a Pharmacist (Hons), Mike completed his medical training at Flinders University in SA. He then returned to Perth for his internship at Fremantle Hospital and commenced general surgical training during which time he rotated throughout the major Perth teaching hospitals.

On completion of sub-specialty training, Mike undertook a further 3 years post-fellowship training in upper GI and Bariatric surgery.This included 1 year at Fremantle Hospital and 2 years within the National Upper GI Training Program (ANZGOSA) at St George Hospital,Sydney and The Austin Hospital,Melbourne
