Mr Mohamed Atalla

Mr Atalla is a General Surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).  He completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and went on to complete his specialist surgical training in Melbourne with the Royal College of Surgeons.  He was selected for an accredited post-fellowship position in Auckland, New Zealand, and trained in the subspecialty of bariatric surgery.  During this time Mr Atalla refined his complex surgical and diagnostic/therapeutic expertise in both upper gastrointestinal/bariatric weight loss surgery and advanced laparoscopic skills.

Mr Atalla has an exprienced, multi -disciplinary team, comprising of a Bariatric Nurse Practitioner, Dietitian, Psychologist, Counsellor and Exercise Physiologist with the aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for all patients as they embark on their weight loss journey through a holistic approach to ensure long term success.

Mr Atalla is also pleased to provide a comprehensive General Surgery service to the Shepparton community, and is committed to offering timely treatment to all patients, private or public.
