A/Prof Paul Gilmore

Paul Gilmore is a highly experienced urological surgeon with dual Fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. After graduating in the United Kingdom, Paul moved to Melbourne to complete a prestigious robotic surgical fellowship at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2011.

Paul’s expertise spans a broad range of urological surgery, including oncology, kidney stone disease (urolithiasis), and functional urology. He currently serves as the Director of Urology at Peninsula University Hospital, where he leads a committed team delivering high-quality specialist care.

In addition to his public hospital work, Paul practices privately at Frankston Urology Services and the Australian Prostate Centre in North Melbourne, providing patient-centered care tailored to individual needs.

Paul also holds honorary positions at The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, and contributes to the profession as an examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
