About
Santosh trained in Orthopaedics at world renowned Christian Medical College, Vellore in India in 2005. He has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005, completing Fellowships in arthroscopy, arthroplasty and sports surgery in Adelaide (2006), Sydney (2008) and Melbourne (2014). He received his FRACS qualification in 2018.
Santosh has worked as a Consultant for Olympic and international athletes including the Indian hockey team and badminton squad and was also the volunteer medical visitor to the Canberra Raiders rugby club.
Santosh believes his strongest asset is his gentle and compassionate nature when communicating with patients and their families.
He is a member of:
- Australian Knee Society (AKS)
- American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)
- International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS)
- Indian Arthroscopy Society (IAS)
Areas of interest include orthopaedic sports medicine and trauma with a specific interest in arthroscopy and arthroplasty of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle.
