About
Dr Bruce Lawford holds qualifications in both psychiatry [FRANZCP] and addiction medicine [FAChAM[RACP]]. He has authored over 30 scientific articles on areas such as addiction, PTSD, schizophrenia and this work has been quoted in numerous medical textbooks.
Dr Lawford holds academic positions at QUT, Life Sciences and UCLA Alcohol Research Centre. In addition he is a senior specialist at the Hospital Alcohol and Drug Services, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
He has had over 20 years association with Greenslopes Private Hospital in both research and clinical areas.
