Ramsay Research

During the month of September, we take the time to celebrate all the research happening right across Ramsay Health Care’s network. Our research is guided by our mission to provide better outcomes for our patients, to investigate the diseases and illnesses which affect them and to progress the learning and development of those who care for them.

3-Minute Video Competition

We are passionate about showcasing the incredible research that is undertaken and the impact that this research has on improving healthcare practice and patient outcomes. All Ramsay accredited researchers, VMO’s, staff or research groups undertaking research at a Ramsay Health Care site were invited to participate in our three-minute video competition for a chance to win a $1000 gift voucher.

2024 Winner

WINNER of both the Ramsay Internal Judging category and Peoples Choice category

The RAFT ECT Study – Presented by Clara Massaneda Teneu, Vanessa Dennis and Thomas Borchard.
This pivotal international study seeks to advance clinical Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) practices, providing real-world evidence to establish a new global standard for ECT, particularly since there has been little change in clinical practice over the last decade.
