Additional Competition Information

All eligible e-Poster submissions will be assessed on the content, clarity of communication, and the quality of the visual display of information on the poster.

The Judging panel will be asked to score against the following rubric, with a maximum of 5 points per criteria for a total score out of 20.

  • Does the e-Poster clearly communicate its intended message?
  • Does the poster clearly describe the research strategy, design, and results/findings of the research?
  • Is the presentation accessible to a cross-disciplinary audience?
  • Was the poster visually appealing and interesting to look at?

All eligible posters will also be entered into the People’s Choice competition, with each poster given a unique identifier for voting.

The public and Ramsay Health Care staff are invited to vote for their favourite e-Poster. Please follow this link to vote: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/eposterpeopleschoice

Only one vote per person will be allowed. Vote tampering or ‘gaming the system’ will deem all votes invalid. We will be using algorithms to examine each vote to ensure there is no cheating for maximum fairness.

Voting will be open between Thursday 21 September and close at 5pm AEST on 27 September 2023 via www.ramsayhealth.com.au/Ramsay-Research

The winners of the Ramsay Research Month National e-Poster competition and the People’s Choice competition will be contacted via email and will be publicly announced on 29 September 2023 during the final day of Ramsay Research Month.

The winners will also be acknowledged in Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation and Ramsay Health Care marketing materials and announced in the October version of the RHRF e-newsletter

Can I submit a poster from a previous conference for this competition? Yes, but the poster must meet the eligibility and terms of conditions of this competition.

Can I submit multiple e-Posters? Yes, an individual can submit multiple posters but can only be listed a first author once. In the case of a research group the first author will be awarded the prize.

Any personal data relating to the winners, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. This competition is a ‘game of skill’ and will be judged as described above.
