Clinical trial research agreements (CTRAs):

In Australia, most clinical trials follow standard agreements developed by Medicines Australia (CTRA) or the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA CIRA).

Some terms in these agreements can be challenging to apply in the private hospital setting. To address this, Ramsay Health Care uses tailored versions of these agreements. These adjustments include adding the Principal Investigator as a signatory, ensuring that all parties involved are accurately represented and the agreements align with Ramsay’s operational needs.

Indemnity: All parties on the CTRA require a certificate of indemnity to be issued.
