My name is Christine and I’ve worked at Waverley Private for 2 ½ years, Mitcham Private for just over 1 year and I’ve worked within Ramsay for 22 years.

Describe your job without using a position title?

My job/s is so broad and interesting especially this year. During the COVID 19 pandemic my role has been to support and guide the hospital staff together with the executive team with all aspects related to the pandemic. My normal role for the network is to support and facilitate all departments within the hospitals to identify continuous improvement initiates they wish to implement and support them to plan, action and evaluate in order to produce positive patient outcomes. Working with the Executive team and to support all departments to be proactive in and oversee all aspects of Risk management. Comply with policies & procedures and ensure the facility achieves and maintains Accreditation.

What motivates you and why?

I enjoy every aspect of my role and I thrive on health care challenges. I love being a resource to all staff and enjoy working with health & care workers.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Learn to ride a bike.

Support the health and care workers in all aspects. Dedication and sacrifice.

Do what you love! Health care is so broad, you can turn all challenges as opportunities to grow.
